By the Mersey, the CJWT Reccy Ride - Juniors offers a straightforward and practical event: a junior reccy ride for u13, u15, and u17 riders. It provides a low-pressure opportunity for younger riders to familiarize themselves with the route, ease any anxieties, and gain a clear understanding of the terrain.
The course is an out-and-back format, establishing a clear rhythm for the participants: ride out, make the turn, and return via the same path. Each junior group follows a distinct version of the route, ensuring the day is tailored to their age group rather than being a simplified version of an adult event.
