Catalina Park hosts this club cross-country race on the western shores of Lake Macquarie, with parklands and lake views providing the setting. This event is the ninth stop in the Hunter Region series, held in a historic area that once housed a RAAF seaplane base.
This is a Saturday club race, not a large-scale road event. Runners participate for the competition, the lakeside course, and the established weekly series. Membership is necessary, online registration closes Friday midnight, and the race is open to participants aged 6 and up, featuring a mix of club runners, juniors, and local residents.
