The JLF Trek: SA follows the Willunga Basin Trail and Kuitpo regions, presenting a point-to-point challenge through the McLaren Vale region. The route features spectacular countryside, national parks, and forests. It offers the feel of a substantial endurance event, requiring steady legs and a clear head. The trek also serves as a community effort for a cause, raising funds and awareness for bowel cancer prevention and early detection.
Checkpoints will provide food and refreshments, with ample support along the course to ease any concerns. Participants include a mix of beginners and experienced runners or walkers tackling their chosen distance. The event concludes with a Finish Line Celebration at Chalk Hill Wines, featuring live entertainment, local wine, beer, non-alcoholic drinks, and paella.
