Terhills Trail

Terhills Trail begins and ends at Terhills Cable Park, situated by the water and the water-ski lift, within Belgium’s National Park Hoge Kempen. This winter trail-running event takes place in early December, offering four distances suitable for various runner abilities, from newcomers to trail running to seasoned participants seeking greater distances and elevation. The courses are primarily off-road, crossing the core of Terhills, featuring forest paths, mine spoil heaps, and sections with significant elevation changes. A recent course iteration incorporates the bridge over the water, providing a distinct landmark close to the Cable Park. This event marks its tenth edition as a weekend program, expanding beyond a single race day into a comprehensive Terhills trail weekend centered on the national park's landscape.
