The Meia Maratona Blue Run Salvador is a street race held annually in early November along Salvador, Bahia’s oceanfront. It combines a half-marathon with a health focus, particularly prostate cancer awareness, promoting running as part of overall well-being.
The course follows Salvador’s seafront. Uroclínica da Bahia organizes the event, which originated from an informal run among urologists. After its relaunch as Blue Run Salvador, participation increased from approximately 1,000 runners to about 2,500, with 4,000 anticipated for the upcoming edition.
