WTR Campos do Jordão

WTR Campos do Jordão serves as the São Paulo stop on the World Trail Races circuit, taking place in Campos do Jordão, within Brazil's Serra da Mantiqueira mountains. This event is structured as a weekend of mountain sports, offering participants a choice of Trail Run distances: Short, Mid, Long, or Ultra. Mountain bikers can select between Light and Pro categories, and a two-day duathlon format is also available. The event accommodates a wide range of participants, with distances starting at 1.50 km for children and extending to approximately 62 km for adult courses, catering to kids, novice off-road runners, and seasoned endurance athletes alike. The course specifics are organized by category, not as a single fixed route. The terrain is characteristic of the highlands surrounding Campos do Jordão, a mountain resort city in southeastern Brazil. This event holds significance in the WTR season, as Campos do Jordão is a 10,000-point stage for both Trail Run and Mountain Bike rankings. Beyond the races, the WTR Arena provides a central hub with entertainment, a food park, a WTR Store, sponsor activities, a children's area, complimentary massage services, and cryotherapy recovery, creating a comprehensive race village experience for athletes and their families.
