Swiss Snow Walk & Run is a January snow race in Arosa, Switzerland. Participants run or walk on packed snow and ice, distinct from typical road or summer trail races. The event caters to trail runners, hikers, walkers, and nature enthusiasts, offering short and mid-distance choices instead of a single race format.
The courses cover 4.4 km, 8.3 km, and 11.3 km on the Weisshorn route, plus a 15.6 km option. The Weisshorn route may be canceled if conditions are unfavorable. A Kids Run is also available. The event emphasizes winter mountain running with snowy trails, elevation changes, cold conditions, and Arosa’s alpine scenery. Volunteers are integral to the event's operation, receiving meals, a gift, and time in the mountain environment while assisting with the race.
