Běh kolem Lužnice

Běh kolem Lužnice begins at the TJ Lokomotiva stadium in Veselí nad Lužnicí, a town in South Bohemia. It is a cross-country and trail race held in early October, organized by the athletics department of TJ Lokomotiva Veselí nad Lužnicí, offering distances of 8.25 km, 6 km, and 3 km. The shortest races, up to 1000 m, are held on the stadium track. Races from 1650 m start from the stadium and proceed into the surrounding nature. The event accommodates all age groups: children receive a paper medal and a small reward at the finish, while the top three finishers in each category are awarded medals and prizes on the podium. The race has been held for at least 40 editions. Runners can typically register in advance via email or on race day at the venue.
