Lesní běh Říčany XCR

Lesní běh Říčany XCR starts and finishes at the Sokolovna in Říčany, Central Bohemian Region. This cross-country and trail race runs through nearby forest areas, with the first category starting in the morning and the main race at midday. The event is designed for a wide field, from the youngest children through veterans, and the distances vary by age and category. Children run short courses from 350 meters to 1.7 kilometers, while adults race 5.5 km or 11 km; the longer distance is for men, and the 5.5 km race is for women and men over 60. The route uses mixed surfaces, including gravel, forest roads, and narrow paths, with varied terrain and some uphill running. Běžecký klub Říčany organizes the race, chip timing is used in every category, and the entry fee is kept low, ranging from free to 100 CZK.
