Soběchlebský Š-krpál

Soběchlebský Š-krpál is a local running race held at the football field in Soběchleby, Přerov district, Czechia. The main race begins at noon, covering approximately 11.7 km with a total elevation change of 268 meters. It has been held annually since 2017, organized by local runners and the municipality, with significant support from the Soběchleby volunteer fire department. The route encircles the village, primarily off-road on gravel and forest paths (about 90%). Children's races for all age groups precede the main event, making the day suitable for families and runners alike. A 6 km course was introduced for beginners, fitness enthusiasts, walkers, younger participants, and older individuals seeking a shorter option; this route includes 137 meters of elevation change. The field area typically features children's activities, grilled food, snacks, and beer following the races.
