The Prague Sokolský běh republiky is a late-October running event connected to the founding of Czechoslovakia. Its primary race covers about 6.5 to 6.9 km through a city park, with children’s races from 0.5 to 1 km, making the day suitable for families and adult runners.
The main course follows firm paths in Petřínské sady, largely asphalt, positioning it as a park-road race rather than a trail run. The event is organized by T.J. Sokol Praha Královské Vinohrady, Župa Jana Podlipného, and continues a Sokol tradition dating back to the initial commemorations of the new Czechoslovak state.
