The Kapellenlauf Vorra takes place at the Sportgelände Vorra in 96158 Vorra, serving as both the start and finish for all races. The event features a 5.5k run, a 5.5k Nordic walk, a 10.6k run, and a half marathon, all commencing on a Sunday morning.
The 10.6k and half marathon courses are single loops with significant elevation changes. The 10.6k route includes approximately 90 meters of climbing, and the half marathon features about 200 meters of ascent. The 10.6k race is open to participants aged 16 and older, while the half marathon is for those 20 and older. Both longer distances can be entered individually or as 5-person teams. Additionally, the event includes children's and youth races, ensuring a full day of activities beyond the main-distance events.
