43. Bleicheröder Vogelberglauf

The Vogelberglauf Bleicherode begins at Talstraße 53 in Bleicherode, at the former youth hostel known as Schneckenhengst. This in-person event offers four road or trail running distances: 20 km, 10 km, 5 km, and 2 km. Ski- und Wanderverein 1954 Bleicherode e.V. and the Freunde des Vogelberglaufes organize this, the 43rd running of the event. Results follow the German Athletics Association age-class system. Younger participants have distance restrictions: pupils up to U12 can only compete in races up to 5 km, and U14 and U16 runners are limited to 10 km. Trophies are presented to the overall winners in the 5 km, 10 km, and 20 km races. The top three finishers in each age category receive certificates for all distances. Advance registration is managed via Race Result, with late entries accepted on race day for an additional fee across all distances, including the 2 km and U12 races.
