ASSA ABLOY Albstadt Bike Marathon

Each year, the ASSA ABLOY Albstadt Bike Marathon guides approximately 2,500 mountain bikers through Albstadt on the Swabian Jura. The primary marathon covers roughly 83 km with 2,000 meters of elevation gain. The weekend event also includes a 42 km short course, a 42 km E-MTB Funrace, races for young children, and the Sparkassen-Kids-Cup. The extended route crosses all nine districts of Albstadt, extending beyond a simple circuit. Initially conceived as a single event for Albstadt’s city anniversary, it continued and eventually became Germany’s longest-running mountain bike marathon. Ebingen’s city center hosts part of the activities on Friday afternoon with the Kids-Cup, a Kids Party, and a live concert by Precious Time.
