The 4 km race is open to participants from U16 through adults, and the 9 km race is open from U18 upwards, accommodating a range of competitors from young club athletes to adult runners.
The course incorporates both paved and unpaved forest trails surrounding the sports complex. Recent descriptions characterize the course as challenging, not flat or easy. Additionally, a distinct prize is given for the fastest final lap for both men and women, adding a race within a race to the finish.
