Flechtkulturlauf Obermain is a road running and walking event in Lichtenfels, Upper Franconia, Bavaria, held around mid-June. It starts and finishes on the city's historic market square. Its theme is derived from local life: basket weaving, an important tradition in the Obermain region. Runners can choose short road distances of approximately 5.3 km or 10.5 km, with listings also mentioning 5 km, 10 km, and a half marathon. Walkers and Nordic walkers have separate route options.
The course follows the Path of Basket Weaving Culture on flat, paved streets through the city center, indicating the event focuses on movement and local atmosphere rather than challenging terrain. ASC Burgberg e.V. organizes it as a community run, welcoming club runners, casual runners, walkers, and Nordic walkers within the same program. The race evolved from an earlier forest run held at a stadium with a more demanding course. It now takes place alongside the Lichtenfels Wine Festival, which provides music and food during the event period.
