O tomto preteku
Hesselberglauf Ehingen is a short mountain and mud race in Ehingen, Middle Franconia, Germany, held at the Ehingen sports facility on Wittelshofenerstrasse. The primary race is 7.6 km with 290 meters of elevation gain, making it brief enough for a hard effort yet steep enough to feel like a true hill run. A flat 1 km children's race is also part of the program, and the event is typically scheduled as an autumn running competition.
The course commences at the sports facility, directing participants onto a mountain running path that incorporates cross-country obstacle elements, such as dirt or mud features. It also functions as the Middle Franconian Mountain Running Championship, adding a competitive dimension to the modest field beyond a local fun run. The race, which started in 2006, is organized by TSV Dinkelsbuhl Laufbewerbe, with Michael Lutz as the contact. Participant numbers are typically between 101 and 300, and registration is straightforward: online, by phone, in advance in person, and on race day, with amenities like changing rooms, showers, and refreshments at the finish.
