Lauf Rund Um Dahl
The start and finish are located on the market square in Dahlen, where the parc ferme is also situated. Rund um Dahlen is a traditional enduro race held in and around Dahlen, a small town in Nordsachsen, Germany. It typically takes place on a weekend in March or early April, meaning the event frequently encounters early-season mud, cold temperatures, and forest terrain. The race originated in the mid-1950s as Rund um den Collm, later reverting to its current name after German reunification. The route initially formed a loop from Oschatz around the Collmberg, then moved towards the Wermsdorfer Forst and the Dahlener Heide as Dahlen became the event's focal point. The club motocross track on Burgberg Dahlen was subsequently incorporated into the program, and the initial timed test now features a compact prologue with artificial obstacles. Rund um Dahlen is a regular round of the German Enduro Championship and has attracted riders from European and world championship levels. Cancellations due to storm damage, deep snow, extreme frost, and the pandemic highlight the race's reliance on the surrounding forests.
