RVB Harlingerland Volkslauf

The RVB Harlingerland Volkslauf is a community race held in mid-June in Dunum, a village in Lower Saxony’s Harlingerland region. Now in its 43rd year, it offers runners distances of 500 m, 5 km, 10 km, and a half marathon. The 10 km and half marathon are measured according to DLV standards for official ranking-list results. The event includes more than just standard road running, featuring walking, handbike, and Bambini categories alongside the main races. Raiffeisen-Volksbank eG, Aurich sponsors the event. The race also participates in the German Athletics Association’s solidarity system in sport, which has supported shared timing and runner safety protocols since 1963.
