Skanderborg Ultraløb 24 hours is a timed ultra race in Skanderborg, Denmark. It is built around a flat 1000-meter loop with a simple aim: run as many kilometers as possible before the clock stops. The event takes place over an October weekend. The 48-hour runners start first, the 24-hour race begins at midday on Saturday, and the 12-hour race starts at midnight. All runners receive their final results at Sunday midday.
The course format is deliberately simple: one kilometer at a time, repeated until each runner’s chosen time limit is reached. Runners decide how to manage their hours, including when to push, slow down, eat, rest, or stop briefly. Every split is measured so record attempts can be verified.
