Karrebæksminde Triatlon hosts over 1,000 athletes in Karrebæksminde, Denmark, during June. The event is based at Cirkuspladsen. This competition ranks among Denmark's largest triathlons. The race marks its tenth edition, maintaining the format from recent years.
The 10.5 km run consists of a single large loop through local neighborhoods. Most spectators and residents will see runners pass once, with Reedtzholmvej being an exception. The course features a turnaround point near the conclusion of Enø Kystvej. Access to this area is restricted for a portion of the afternoon, except for residents and emergency personnel. Organizers refer to the event as “Denmark’s most delicious triathlon.” The participants include seasoned triathletes and a broader audience attracted by a well-organized local race.
