Storstrømsløbet 2026

Storstrømsløbet is a road cycling event held on Masnedø, near Vordingborg, with routes covering Vordingborg and Falster. It takes place in June, organized by VMC as a mass-participation ride. Distances include a short family route of approximately 11 km, a medium route of about 70 km, and a long route of around 120 km. The event's slogan highlights its unique feature: two wheels, two bridges. Participants cycle over the new bridge and return via the old Storstrøms Bridge before its closure. All routes circle Falster and conclude at Brofest on Masnedø. The longer rides commence in the morning, followed by the medium and family groups. The finish coincides with a weekend festival featuring a running race, speeches, activities, royal attendance, entertainment, and vendor stalls.
