Vilsted Sø Løb

Vilsted Sø Løb is a local running event held around Vilsted Sø in northern Jutland each September, offering several route options. It is designed for a wide range of participants, not exclusively serious runners, accommodating children, older individuals, beginners, club runners, and anyone wishing to support Lions Club Løgstør’s local initiatives. The event originated at Ranum Efterskole and continues as a collaboration between the school and Lions Club Løgstør. Approximately 1,300 participants are anticipated, attracting individuals from nearby communities and beyond. All proceeds benefit Lions Club Løgstør, funding humanitarian, cultural, and charitable projects, primarily within the local region. A distinctive element is the medal, featuring a new drawing by artist Kirsten Lomborg for each participant, contributing to the race's unique identity.
