Artesa Meló Bike

Artesa Meló Bike is a cycling event in Artesa de Segre, Lleida, Spain, held on the first Sunday of November. It is a relatively new local ride, with only a few editions held so far, and it offers several route lengths instead of one fixed challenge. The format is designed to give different riders a suitable day out: shorter options are around 24 or 25 km, while longer versions reach 50 km and listings also include a 68 km distance. One published set of routes gave 24 km with 200 m of climbing, 40 km with 900 m, and 50 km with 1,300 m, so the harder choices are proper hilly rides rather than flat spins. A recent classification for the main event listed 41 finishers over 22 km, which suggests a small, community-sized field rather than a large mass ride.
