Centinela Running 2026

Centinela Running colors Tarazona pink for a solidarity sports weekend in October, drawing thousands of participants annually. This event extends beyond a typical race, featuring a commemorative march and a 24-hour non-stop challenge, all supporting research and aid for breast and genital cancers. The series is organized by Asociación Centinela and Club de Atletismo Tarazona, with support from the local council. Pink, the event's signature color, symbolizes hope, kindness, positivity, and a strong desire for life. The official T-shirt is thoughtfully redesigned each year, and participants often continue to wear these shirts for other activities long after the race weekend. The event also recalls the period of necessary cancellation because of the pandemic, and its subsequent return brought the color pink back to the streets.
