Cursa Popular del Poble Sec 2026

The Cursa Popular del Poble Sec is a 5 km road race held in Barcelona’s Poble-sec neighborhood. The main race begins and ends at Plaça del Sortidor. Organized by C.A. RUNNING, the event also features children’s races, making it suitable for local runners and families, not just adults aiming for a fast time. The main course consists of two laps on asphalt through the streets of Poble-sec, offering a straightforward route for participants and observers. Children compete in shorter distances tailored to their age groups, ranging from 200 m to 1,000 m. Participants in the main race receive a technical T-shirt. Bibs and timing chips are distributed at the Centre Cívic del Sortidor. The event serves as the Memorial Txema Colomer.
