Platja d'Aro Open Water

Platja d'Aro Open Water is a sea-swimming race held in Platja d'Aro, Girona, on Catalunya's Costa Brava. It is part of the Open Water Series and takes place in late August. Swimmers can choose from 6 km, 3 km, and 1.5 km distances, with a Kids category also available. The courses are set in the open sea off the Costa Brava, designed for swimmers seeking a true sea competition over a pool event. Participants receive a swimmer's bag containing a tote bag and swim cap, an official T-shirt, and access to the event programme, regulations, and official photo galleries.
