Triatlón ciudad Alcázar de San Juan 2026

The Triatlón Ciudad Alcázar de San Juan is a regional triathlon held in Alcázar de San Juan, Ciudad Real. It features a middle-short distance: a 1,000-meter swim, 30 kilometers by bike, and a 5.5-kilometer run. On race morning, athletes gather at the athletics track in Alcázar to collect bibs before transport departs for the first transition. The event takes place between Alcázar and the Lagunas de Villafranca, with the first transition located approximately 15 kilometers from town and the cycling course looping around the lagoons. Buses and a truck are provided for athletes and their bikes, though many participants cycle to the start because of the short, flat route. Before heading to the bike, athletes must leave their running gear at the second transition. Any unused swim or bike equipment is collected and taken to the finish line.
