XTreme Sierra Sur 2026

Xtreme Sierra Sur is a mountain race held in Alcalá la Real, Andalusia. Its main route covers 26 kilometers with 1,600 meters of elevation gain. This event serves as a challenging club-level competition, integrated into the regional structure as a scoring race for the Copa de Andalucía and the Andalusian Club Championship. The main race is complemented by a 15-kilometer Open option, featuring 700 meters of climbing, which accommodates junior and youth participants. The competition attracts strong Andalusian mountain-running clubs. Dani Luque González of Alpino Benalmádena won the men's event, Silvia Lara Diéguez of Sierra Sur de Jaén won the women's event, and Alpino Benalmádena secured a club double. Raquel Villalba Rodríguez, a women's podium finisher, also leads the overall Copa de Andalucía standings with Diego Benítez.
