Eki'Gesnes 2026

Eki'Gesnes begins and ends at the Place de la Mairie in Gesnes-le-Gandelin, a village in the Sarthe department. Organized around mid-July by La Foulée Gesnoise, the event centers on EKI'GESNES, a relay marathon for teams of two or four. Each team completes a 10.60 km loop four times, passing the baton at the start and finish line. The primary relay loop is mainly off-road, consisting of approximately 70% paths and 30% road. Aid stations are available at 5 km and the finish. The event also features EKI'TRAIL, a 25 km nature trail race with about 290 m of elevation gain and a higher proportion of paths, alongside a 10 km hike and Nordic walk. Children can participate in road races, including EKI'POUSS, a 560 m untimed run for ages 5 to 11 with no rankings. On-site amenities include refreshments, prizes, a tombola, food and drink, and a gift for all participants.
