Ekiden de Montgeron 2027

The Ekiden de Montgeron is a team relay race held in Montgeron, Essonne, south of Paris, each March. The primary event is a marathon distance divided among six runners, with leg lengths of 5 km, 10 km, 5 km, 10 km, 5 km, and 7.195 km. A shorter 10 km relay is also offered for pairs, with each participant running 5 km. The course is located in Forêt Sénart, featuring an ultra-flat, FFA-certified path suitable for French championship qualification. ES Montgeron Athlétisme organizes the race, which includes a Challenge Entreprises to attract club teams, friends, families, and workplace groups. A children's event combining running and throwing is also part of the program, with aid stations available on the 10 km route and at the finish line.
