Infinity trail - Hossegor - Landes 2027

Infinity Trail Hossegor begins at noon from Jaï Alaï in Hossegor, located in the Landes department of south-west France. This is a last-runner-standing endurance event. All participants run the same 6.7 km loop around Lake Hossegor, restarting at the top of each subsequent hour. Each lap must be completed in under 60 minutes. Runners who are too slow, too tired, or decide to stop are eliminated. There is no set finish time, as the race concludes only when the last runner completes an additional lap solo. The course circles Lake Hossegor entirely and is marked and secured. However, the format itself is the challenge: a runner might feel capable for one loop and then face the same decision an hour later. Participants are required to carry mandatory equipment, and the entry fee for the event is 90 euros. The winner of the sixth edition, Christophe Dagorette, completed 63 laps, taking just over 48 minutes for his final circuit. The world record for this race format stands at 101 laps, equivalent to 101 hours of running and 676 km.
