La Crapadure is the 26 km race at La Crapahute de Bellevigne, a trail event in Bellevigne-en-Layon, located in the Layon area of Anjou. It takes place in late May, starting from the sports complex stadium, which also serves as the finish line for all distances. The event also includes a 10 km race named La Crapounette and an 18 km race called La Crapahute. The 26 km option is the most challenging, featuring approximately 700 meters of elevation gain.
The course winds through local hills and vineyards, avoiding flat road running. Participants can anticipate numerous ascents and descents across the coteaux of the Layon, offering vistas over vines that yield wines such as Bonnezeaux. AS Martigné Briand is the organizing body. Entry is limited to 350 bibs per race, maintaining a relatively small field. The 26 km and 18 km races are open to participants from junior to master age categories, while the 10 km race also accommodates cadets.
