10 km de Sarge
The 10 km de Sargé is a road race held in mid-April in Sargé-lès-le-Mans, located in the Sarthe department of Pays de la Loire, France. Participants can choose between a single-loop 10 km race or a single-loop 5 km race. The 10 km race attracted over 300 participants, while the 5 km race saw more than 100 in the last edition. The course combines urban sections with natural areas surrounding Sargé-lès-le-Mans, offering more than just a flat run through streets. Organizers present it as a genuine test of resistance and endurance, distinct from a casual jog. However, the 5 km option accommodates both novice runners and seasoned competitors. The local motto, “C est le MoMans de Courir !”, references nearby Le Mans, suggesting that runners could explore the old town or the 24 Hours circuit after the race.
