Les foulées Chotelaises - Cholet 2026

Les Foulées Choletaises is a city road race in Cholet, Maine-et-Loire, approximately 60 kilometers from Nantes. It features a fast 10 km race beginning at 10:00 AM from Avenue Anatole Manceau, near the skatepark and the omnisports stadium. A 5 km race for adults is also available. The event typically takes place in late October and has been held annually since 1992. The 10 km race attracts the largest number of participants, with around 3,500 starters in the main event and an additional 500 in the 5 km race during a recent edition. The course remains within the city limits, incorporating sections through public parkland, giving it an urban character rather than a rural one. The event also includes races for children and juniors, with shorter 1.5 km and 2.2 km distances, as well as a handisport category. Its slogan, “Fais ton Show à Chowlet!”, uses wordplay on the local name, while the race is primarily known for its practical appeal: runners visit Cholet in October to achieve a fast 10 km time.
