Raid VTT Lisieux La Cerza

The Raid VTT Lisieux La Cerza begins at the Parc des Expositions in Lisieux, Calvados, Normandy. This late-October mountain-bike and walking event, organized by Vélo Club Lexovien, includes morning check-in and routes concluding by mid-afternoon. Participants can select from five VTT courses: 20 km and 25 km blue-level routes, alongside more challenging red-level options of 40 km, 50 km, and 65 km. Walkers have three routes available: 17 km, 20 km, and 25 km. The event is designed for families, hikers, casual riders, and experienced mountain bikers. The routes extend from Lisieux through neighboring communes such as Firfol, Ouilly du Houley, Rocques, and Hermival-les-Vaux. A distinctive feature of this event is its passage through CERZA, the Centre d'Etude et de Reproduction Zoologique Augeron. Participants will ride or walk through a portion of the zoological park, adhering to marked routes and site regulations. Over 2,000 individuals participate annually, and the event is well into its fourth decade, having passed its thirtieth edition. Entry fees are kept accessible, with lower rates for licensed participants and reduced or free prices for those under 18, depending on their license status.
