The Trail Nocturne des Lambele is a headlamp trail race held in Lampertsloch, a village in the Bas-Rhin region of Alsace. Taking place in September, it features two night routes: an 8 km course with 170 m of elevation gain and a 15 km course with 400 m of elevation gain. The 15 km race begins shortly after the 8 km event, meaning participants head into the darkness within a short evening timeframe.
The course is situated almost entirely within the forest, with a brief section passing through the village. L'Association des coureurs de la Saline de Soultz-sous-Forets is the organizing body, providing runners with essential race-day amenities like aid stations and changing facilities. This event is suited for runners seeking a concise yet authentic trail running challenge, with dark forests, headlamp use, consistent climbing, and a local village start distinct from a large urban race environment.
