Triathlon des Moines 2026

Triathlon des Moines begins at the Etangs des Moines in Fourmies, Nord department, France, close to the Belgian border. Held in mid-June, it offers athletes multiple race formats: the popular M race, the shorter S triathlon, the off-road XS cross triathlon (Les X-Moines), and events for children and juniors. This Fourmies location by the ponds has been the event's base since 2009, organized by Club Athletique Fourmisien. The M race includes a 1.4 km swim, a 39 km road cycling segment, and a 10 km road run. The S race features a 750 m swim, a 19.5 km bike leg, and a 5 km run. Les X-Moines is shorter and more rugged, with a 250 m swim, a 5 km mountain bike course, and a 2.3 km trail run. The course winds through forest, hedgerows, and ponds, accommodating both beginners in short formats and experienced triathletes seeking a substantial race. Fourmies train station is situated just over a kilometre from the event site.
