Urban 10 km Chateaugiron 2026

The Urban 10 km Chateaugiron begins and ends at the chateau in Chateaugiron, a small town in Ille-et-Vilaine, Brittany. This 10 km road race crosses the historic center, with the adult race starting at 10:30 AM. Bib pickup is available at the chateau from 8:00 AM. Ossé Sport Nature organizes the event, which has a limit of 499 participants, making it a focused local race. The course starts near the Cour du Château, leading runners through the old center before returning to the castle grounds. Participants must be self-sufficient as there are no aid stations on the route. A children’s race takes place earlier in the morning, with proceeds benefiting the association Pour le bonheur de Gabriel. Awards are given to the top three men and women, and also to runners finishing in specific places like 50th, 100th, and 150th, adding a playful element to this local event.
