The Urban Trail de Bernay is an urban trail event held on a Sunday morning, starting from the prairie de la Charentonne in Bernay, located in the Eure department of Normandy. The 15 km race, officially measured at 14.690 km, begins at 10:00 and is timed for participants eligible for the adult race. This event is part of a larger series of town races organized by the Ville de Bernay, which also includes a 22.100 km race, a 7.770 km race, a non-timed 7.770 km walk, and a 1.580 km children's race, all running on the same schedule.
The event's structure is straightforward and community-focused: the longer races offer prizes for the top three male and female finishers, and all children participating in the children's race receive an award. Aid stations are provided along the course, but participants are encouraged to use an eco-cup or their own bottle, as single-use plastic bottles are not distributed. Following the races, each event features a prize draw where the bib holder must be present to collect their prize.
