Zomb'in The Dark Bordeaux - Floirac 2027

Zomb'in The Dark Bordeaux - Floirac sends runners into the forest of the Domaine de la Burthe in Floirac, near Bordeaux, for a zombie-themed orienteering race. Instead of following a fixed course, participants have 1 hour 30 minutes to find and validate as many checkpoints as possible while wearing two life strips on their belt. Zombies move through the forest alone or in groups, attempting to steal these strips and deduct points from survivors. Entrants select their role upon registration. Survivors can compete individually or as a team. The event is open to those aged 14 and over with accompaniment. Places are limited, and teams wishing to start simultaneously must select the same start time. US Cenon's orienteering section, a club on the right bank of Bordeaux, organizes the event, which is part of the Zomb'in The Dark series. This race has seen four editions, blending night-style forest navigation, a chase game, and a costume-friendly local orienteering event.
