Abersoch Triathlon 2026

The Abersoch Triathlon begins on Abersoch Beach, situated right of the central slip ramp, featuring a sea swim within the town’s protected bay. This North Wales seaside triathlon offers Sprint and Olympic distances. The Sprint comprises a 750m swim, 20K bike, and 5K run. The Olympic consists of a 1500m swim, 40K bike, and 10K run. Both distances are open to solo participants or relay teams of two or three. An additional 1K Beach Sprint is also available. The cycling portion involves a 20K circuit, completed once for the Sprint and twice for the Olympic, including segments closed to vehicles. The running course combines beach, trail, and road sections, concluding back on Abersoch Beach. Competitors aiming for the "Dual in the Crown" title can participate in both the Sprint and Olympic events on the same day. The triathlon is also part of the Abersoch Triple Crown series, which includes the Abersoch 10K and Abersoch Half Marathon.
