Starting at the King George V Playing Field in Patterdale, this uphill-only event presents a vertical challenge, a 6km race embodying the spirit of a "Vertical-only sufferfest" within the Lake District Sky Trails series. The course requires a 6km climb with 850m ascent, traversing the terrain of the Lake District. Designed as a Vertical K, it is a test of climbing ability for those seeking to push their limits.
