Marathon de Catane (Naturosa)

The Marathon de Catane (Naturosa) takes place in December in Catania, Sicily, set against Mount Etna and the Ionian coast. Participants can select the full marathon, half marathon, or a 10.5 km race, accommodating marathoners, club runners, and those seeking a shorter city run. ASD Atletica Sicilia organizes the event under FIDAL, with a certified and officially approved route. The course begins and ends on Viale Kennedy near Lido Verde, utilizing a 10.5488 km circuit. This loop requires one circuit for the 10.5 km, two for the half marathon, and four for the full marathon. The circuit guides runners through Catania, offering views of the city, the sea, and Etna. Maintaining the same route annually provides returning runners with a consistent benchmark. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers, along with awards for FIDAL categories.
