Despite its name, it functions more as a community event than a traditional half marathon, catering to participants seeking a short, medium, or longer run or walk without the pressure of competitive rankings.
The courses traverse Parco Albanese, Bosco dell’Osellino, Parco San Giuliano, Forte Marghera, concluding in Piazza Ferretto, Mestre's main square. Ca’ Mestre assists with the event, managing bib and race-packet distribution. A portion of the proceeds benefits LILT, AVIS, and AVAPO, linking the run to local health, blood donation, and cancer-support organizations.
