SwissPeaks Trail is a trail-running series in the Swiss Alps, located in the Dents du Midi Region. Races begin in locations like Morgins and Val-d'Illiez. Distances range from 10 km to a 700 km ultra, accommodating first-time mountain runners, marathon-distance runners, and those seeking a multi-day alpine challenge.
The routes traverse the area between Lake Geneva and the Valais glaciers, utilizing border trails that connect the mountains to the lake. The series emphasizes rugged alpine terrain over road-racing speed. Runners will encounter climbs, high mountain vistas, and a volunteer-supported atmosphere described by organizers as personal and connected to the mountain community. The SwissPeaks Challenge provides a shorter introduction to the Valais mountains, and the marathon option is presented as a more approachable alpine race.
