TraniTriathlon is an Olympic-distance triathlon held in Trani, a port city in Puglia known as the Pearl of the Adriatic. The race follows the standard 1.5 km sea swim, 40 km road bike, and 10 km run configuration. Its course is designed for technical racing, not a casual fun run.
The setting provides athletes and supporters a clear sense of place, with Trani’s harbor, Romanesque cathedral, and historic center forming the race-day backdrop. The event, organized by Atletica Tommaso Assi Triathlon Team, reached its seventh edition. It served as a stage of the Italian Triathlon Federation’s National No Draft Circuit, with the Trani round being the only one held in Southern Italy.
