XI Capocolonna is a 10 km road race in Crotone, on the Ionian coast of Calabria in southern Italy. The race is typically scheduled for early June and is also known as Capocolonna-Crotone, bearing the Trofeo Pasquale Senatore title. It is a competitive road event organized by A.S.D. Milonrunners Crotone with the F.I.D.A.L. Calabria regional committee.
Runners assemble at Piazzale Ultras on Crotone’s seafront, then compete on a coastal 10 km course with views over the Ionian Sea. The event is part of the Regional Master Road Running Team Championship, attracting club and masters runners primarily. Its local connection is the link between Crotone and Capo Colonna, a site connected to Calabria’s ancient history, positioning the race as a blend of sport, archaeology, and coastline.
