Rocket Marathon Tokyo is an October race meeting based at a special event site by the Shibamata Park flower bed in Katsushika Ward, Tokyo. The main-day program is built around a 2 km family run, a 30 km race, and a full marathon, so it works for children running with adults as well as runners using the day for serious marathon preparation.
The event’s theme is a “rocket start” to marathon season, and the distance list fits that idea: 30 km gives trained runners a long test without going all the way to 42.195 km, while the full marathon is there for people ready to race the whole distance. A separate program offers 5 km, 10 km, and half marathon options, and entries use tiered pricing with early discounts, later standard fees, optional advance bib mailing, proxy registration, and payment by card, Amazon Pay, or convenience store.
