De Zestig van Texel is an ultrarun on the Dutch island of Texel, offering solo distances of 60 km and 120 km, along with a team relay. It begins at 't Horntje, near the ferry port, placing runners directly into the race environment: an island course composed of beach, forest, dunes, dikes, mudflats, villages, and a segment designated as mountain.
The course crosses the entire west coast of Texel before concluding in Den Burg, the island's primary settlement. This event caters to individuals seeking a demanding off-road and mixed-terrain challenge over a straightforward road ultra. The 120 km option doubles the difficulty for those opting for the extended distance. Local tourism entity De Krim Texel highlights it as a Texeltip, aligning with the event's draw: it serves as both a competition and a method to traverse Texel entirely on foot.
